Slingbox AV video quality? - av receiver wireless network
I want a Slingbox AV my satellite TV (Dish Network DVR) can see on my laptop. I wonder how the screen is compared in the best quality on my MacBook to the quality of my normal TV is connected directly to the satellite receiver. I'm not going to the Slingbox over the Internet, but only on my home wireless network. I use an Apple Airport Extreme Base Station Router and my MacBook is the 2nd Generation with 2.16 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo and 2 GB of RAM. Everyone, please respond to the Slingbox experience. Thank you!

I have the Slingbox Pro, I think the quality on the laptop will be slightly below the TV. There are many things on it, including the type of cable you use and your wireless signal. The laptop is fine but it should end. It will be of great quality, but I can see.
Slingbox Pro supported HD signals, it is important to note that the Slingbox can pass resolutions of HD video: for all scales Slingbox video in standard TV resolution on your home network, and a resolution even lower if it is not at home.
Information is available directly from the manufacturer ...
